DivFix

DivFix is an open-source multiplatform application that allows you to check errors and repair corrupt or incomplete AVI files by reconstructing their existing source indexes.

You can also use it to preview AVI files that you're in the process of downloading from the Internet, whether you're getting it from eD2k, torrent, FTP, or HTTP. Just select the directory where your computer stores temporary download files and ignore those that don't belong to the sequence that you want to see.

DivFix also includes a function that allows you to delete the index of an AVI file to make it unrecognizable by the majority of multimedia players. Its name is Strip Index.
